In-house Guidelines in response to (COVID-19).



SCREENING:

When AA has a meeting if each person present puts first name last initial and cell  # on a sign in sheet that would allow us to comply with state regulations

Upon check-in, each attendee will be asked to sign a sign-in sheet using their first name, last Initial and cell phone number. Undergo a quick temperature screening with a non-contact, digital infrared forehead thermometer. Anyone exhibiting a fever of 100.4 F or greater will not be permitted to enter our buildings but encouraged to attend a meeting with us via Zoom.

Screen (by questionnaire, temperature check, etc.)services workers (NOT attendees) asking (1) COVID-19 symptoms in past 14 days, (2) positive COVID-19 test in past 14 days and/or (3) close contact with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case in past 14 days.  Responses must be reviewed and documented.

*We “cannot mandate that attendees complete a health screen or provide contact information but may encourage attendees to do so.”

SOCIALLY-DISTANCED:

Our seating will be organized to ensure 6 feet is maintained between each person. In addition, we are utilizing specific entrances and exits and directing traffic to limit congestion and ensure social distancing throughout the building.

FACE MASKS:

Face Masks will be required the entire time you are indoors. You must wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth when attending our in person meeting.

Masks/Face Coverings

  • Must be worn when in public and w/in 6 ft of others or in a setting where unable to maintain 6 ft from others. (Executive Order 202.17)

  • Denial of entry: “Businesses” may deny entry to individuals who do not wear masks or face coverings. (Executive Order 202.34)

ENTERING:

Individuals may only enter through doors designated as “entrances” and may only exit through doors designated as “exits.” There are 3 exits. Two of them are on the side of the church (in the sanctuary) and the side door exit facing Webster Ave. Our doors will be propped open to allow you to enter / exit our building without touching door handles. Our goal is to provide a completely contactless and touch-less environment.

CHOOSE YOUR SEAT:

Choose a seat that will ensure that every member maintains social distancing. Please keep notice the seats that are blocked off these seats are to secure proper distancing.

GREETING/TOUCHING:

There will be no formal greeting time. We  discourage members or shaking  hands,  hugging, or kissing. We encourage head nods, air hugs and air high fives! 

FOOD AND BEVERAGE:

Shared food or beverages are not allowed. If you require food for medical reasons, you may bring individual, pre-packaged food or beverages as long as 6 feet are maintained between individuals while eating.

BASKETS:

We have set one basket stationed in a designated area so you can drop off your offering without passing the baskets throughout the room. You can always give online at www.tecos.group

LITERATURE:

No distributing of literature or the use of books. Please exchange information via electronic device.

EXIT SAFELY:

When the meeting is over, you will follow marked pathways to help guide you as you exit our buildings safely. Certain doors have been marked “Exit Only” to prevent congestion as others may arrive. Small gatherings after the meeting are permitted outside of the church.

WHAT IF I CANNOT ATTEND IN-PERSON SERVICES?

We completely understand that many of you may be uncomfortable attending in person meetings at this time, and that is OKAY! 

Some of us have underlying health conditions or are especially at-risk for COVID, while others may simply feel unready to join us for in person meetings. We completely respect your decision and will continue to provide Early Cup Zoom meetings 7 days a week if you should do to choose to attend online meetings.

HOW CAN I HELP?

There are a number of ways you can serve, both our in person and ZOOM meetings. We will always have traditional commitments that need to be filled at both Early Cups “brick and mortar” meetings. as well as our online. Please feel free to contact one of the group chairs to inquire about service positions. Traditional commitments still be need to be filled and maintained with the exception of coffee maker.

  • Up to 50 people maximum in the building.

  • Please use the hand sanitizer available upon entering the building. 

  • No socializing inside the building after the meeting.  

  • Stay home if sick.

  • Cover nose/mouth with face covering.

  • Properly store/discard PPE.

  • Adhere to physical distancing instructions.

  • *Report symptoms of or exposure to COVID.

  • Follow hand hygiene and cleaning/disinfection guidelines.

  • Follow appropriate respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette.

  • Prohibit holding/shaking hands of members.

  • No eating or consuming of beverages in the building.

  • No distributing of literature or the use of books.
